What can TTO do for businesses or industry?

Many regional, national and international companies regularly approach universities for access to innovation. The VU and VUmc have internationally renowned expertise in many areas of research technology. Unique technologies, expertise, biomaterials, patents or spin-off companies may all be of interest to both public and private parties, and the TTO functions as your point of entry to scientists and departments at VU University and its medical centre.

We keep an extensive database of all that the VU and VUmc have to offer, and will assist you in gaining access to specific areas of expertise or technology, to ensure that this expertise and these research findings reach business and industry and user communities. The TTO will work with you on all aspects of the collaboration, including negotiations on getting licenses and defining the best collaboration conditions.
